GUIDELINES TO
SRIVARI SEVA VOLUNTEERS
* A group consisting of not less than 10 members is eligible for rendering Srivari Seva for Seven days. The members should be spiritually motivated to offer selfless service. Interested voluntary groups can send their requisition letter containing the name, address, age, sex, profession and stamp size photograph etc. of each participant to the Public Relations Officer, TTD, administrative Building, K.T. Road, Tirupati – 517501 at least one month in advance.
* The respective team leader / co-ordinators are requested to produce the total information about the volunteers / viz., Name, Father name / Husband name, Postal Address, Profession, Religion, Stamp size photo, Telephone No. if any to the Serivari Seva Sadan, Tirumala.
* Srivari sevaks are advised not to bring children, aged and sick people along with them.
* They should report to the superintendent / Officer on Special Duty at Srivari Seva Sadan, Inside RTC Bus stand, Tirumala on their arrival as per the dates mentioned in the order, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
* Free Accommodation will be provided to the sevaks in Seva Sadan. Sevaks are requested to bring their own lock & keys for locker. In case the accommodation is provided at Prilgrims Amenities Complex, the Srivari Sevaks should be ready to pay Rs. 200 towards caution deposit for locker and Rs. 100 for mat which is refundable.
* Duties will be allotted everyday, at 4 p.m. at Srivari seva Sadan. Sevaks should be willing to perform duty at least for 6 hours daily.
* Please wear Srivari Seva scarves while on duty. But they should not be worn while going for Srivari darsan and other places.
* Sevaks are requested to attend Training session at Asthanamandapam or Seva Sadan at 7 a.m. on every Friday. It is a compulsory.
* Always chant ‘Govinda’ and address everyone as ‘Govinda’.
* Srivari Seva is purely a volunatary Service to extend help the visiting pilgrims. No payment, either in cash or kind, should be made to anyone for Srivari Seva.
* The sevaks can take part in bhajans and nagara sankirtanas everyday. They can also utilize the musical instruments which are available in Srivari Seva Sadan.
* No Temple duties to Srivari Sevaks.
* Do perform Srivari Seva as a loving service to Lord Srinivasa.
